Flights to Zakynthos
The airport of Zakynthos island is located on the southern side of the island, in the region of Laganas. It receives internal flights from Athens all year round and the flight time from Athens to Zakynthos is 45 min. In summer, the airports gets more busy and receives charters and low cost flights from many European airports. There is also a small air company, Sky Express, that operates flights to Zakynthos from Kythira, Corfu, Kefalonia and Aktion/Preveza.
Ferries to Zakynthos
Ferries to Zakynthos There are no ferries from Piraeus to Zakynthos. Ferries to Zakynthos depart only from Killini, a port town on the western side of Peloponnese. The ferry trip lasts for 1 hour. In summer, there are also ferries between Zakynthos and Kefalonia, operated by Ionion Pelagos Lines. These ferries operate between Pessada port in Kefalonia and Shinari port in Zakynthos, usually twice per day in high season. The trip is 1h30min.
